TED TALKS: Jason deCaires Taylor: An underwater art museum, teeming with life

Jason deCaries build underwater museums in Grenada and Mexic, also he build a underwater botanical garden which represent the climatic change and the protection of the sea. In the Bahamas he make a statue of five meters.

He use a cement with a neutral pH for that reason his job is more stable and for that reason coral can live in. Also can live in fishs and other kinds of animals because his statues are hollow. All his statues are awesome becuase the nature finish his work and they are part of the sea.

He do it becuase he think that we don't protect our oceans enough. And one way of thinking about this is that we don't regard our oceans as sacred, and we should. 

TED TALKS: Carl Safina: What are animals thinking and feeling?

Carl Safina make a study to understand the feelings of animals. 

The first neurons came from jellyfish. Jellyfish gave rise to the first chordates. The first chordates gave rise to the first vertebrates. The vertebrates came out of the sea, and here we are. A neuron looks the same in a crayfish, a bird or you. Dolphins have a bigger brain with more convultions. Okey, they  have brains, but what does that have to say about minds?

He observe elephants. He saw that the elfants know where is a human here and if that human is dangerous or not, they can differentiate. They have been watching us for much longer than we have been watching them. They know us better than we know them. We have the same imperatives: take care of our babies, find food, try to stay alive. 

We are the animal more compassionate, most violent, most creative and most destuctive. Those animals of Noah's ark deemed worthy of salvation is in mortal danger now and their flood is we.

TED TALKS: Angela Lee: the key of success? Grit

Anglea Lee was a teacher who do tests and exams. She saw that the marks of the best students and the marks of the worst students don't have so much difference. She thinks that in education lack a prespective psychological for be able to understood how learns the students. Due to that she go to university to learn psycology.

She allways ask: who have success and why? For that reason she make a study shows the key of success isn't only IQ, talent or pshysical healt. The most important thing is have grit. Gritt is perseverance and passion for very long term goals. But we don't know how building grit.

Drugs

There are proves that the man used drugs for religious reasons, for example for being able to talk to their gods.

One of the first drugs was the opiate in Mesopotamia. 

Kinds of drugs :

-Hallucinogenic: Substances that modify consciousness, perception and thinking. LSD and some mushrooms are among them. In California it is forbidden to lick frogs because of its toxins.

-Opiate: Substances stemming of the papaver. For instance there is morphine.

-Depressing drugs: They act on the nervous system, decreasing its activity. They are often used to decrease anxiety and inducing sleep.

-Stimulants: These enhance brain activity and mental focus. But heighten blood pressure, heart rate beat and breathing rate. These used to be used on asthma patients.

Kinds of consequences :

Depending on which drugs you use the consequences may vary. Some examples:

- Addiction is the most known since it is present in almost every drug. Addiction makes you want to keep consuming regularly and without control.

- Panic attack: Appears after the consumption of cocaine or marihuana.

- Aggressive behavior :Caused by methamphetamines.

- Hungry: Caused by amphetamines.

- Chronic hallucination: Caused by LCD.

- Focusing issues: Caused by alcohol.

- Dilated pupils: Caused by cocaine.

- Red eyes: Caused by marihuana.

- Among others, including sterility, AIDS, etc.

Penguins

There are seventeen different types of pinguins. They can be from forty centimetres to more than one metre tall. They all lives in the south part of the world. In winter, they swim a long way to find warner weather.

 In spring, much penguins come together on the beaches of Antartica. The female penguin has one or two eggs. She puts her eggs on the ground and sits there to one egg between their legs.

When the female penguin is sitting on the eggs, the male penguin brings her food. He also does this when baby penguins are born.

Whales in Cap de Creus

This year, in September 6 whales came to the Cap de Creus. We can  think that it isn't typical, but it isn't. Some kind of whales are typical from here.

One of those whales had a big scar due to boats. For that reason I remember that we have to respect mammals and animals because so many are in danger of extinction.

The firs time that I saw whales was in Madeira. They were free and wild because of that I didn't see many. I wanted to see them more, it was impressive.

Life without technology?

Would we bertter off without computer games? So many people have a opposite opinion about that, forr that reason I will explain the positive annd negative things.

Firstly, technological machines are useful because they help us to do things more easily and they facilitates work. For exemple our phones make it eazier to comunicate with someone, or the robot vacum clener that cleans the floor on this own. Our machines help us.

On the other hand, tecnology makes us lazy because they can do everything. Morover they are expensive and they can break

. Finally technology dosen't work without power.

Like many things, maybe it's a questtion of balance. We can use them but not depend on them, because they can give bad habits. Life with technology is better if we are careful.

Life without computer games?

Computer games have been with us for years. For a lot of young people they take a significant amount of their free time. But are they a positive or negative thing? Would we better off without them?

Computer games can be a fun way to relax after studying. They don't disturb other people and can be good for imporving had-eye coordination. On the other hand, they can be addictive and some people spend many hours at their computer. They stop going out, seeing people, doing sports and so on.

So, in the end, like many things maybe it's a question of balance. If we play computer games from time to time and still do lots of other things, they should be a fun and entretaining addiction to our free time interests.

TED talks: Free diving

David Blaine does extreme things that doctors consider imposible. He lived in a cover up coffin one week, he froze herself tree days and tree nights... His next pursuit was see how long he could hold his breath.

He informs about that. He met a top neurosurgeon and he asked him, how long could he go without air? And he said to me that anything over six minutes you have a serious risk of hypoxic brain damage. Also they told him that if he is a magician, he can build up an delusion of not breathing, it will be much easier. David creates a rebreather, but clearly wasn't going to work. Then he thought about the craziest idea of all ideas: to actually do it.

The first thing that he learned is when you're holding your breath, you should never move, because that wastes energy and your heart rate down. Then he learned how hyperventilating because that eliminates CO2 from your blood and that make easy hold your breath. Moreover he starts a diet compoused by small meals.

Afterward of 4 months his heart rate down to 38 and he could hold his breth 7 min. After that, David trys to make slower his heart ratein in extreme conditions due to that he held his breath knot. He lost consciousness and they had to revive.

Finally he decided to do it with pure O2. As well he slept in a hypoxic tent every night. What that does is, you start building up the red bloodcell count in your body,  which helps you carry oxygen bettter. His first attempt on pure O2, I was able to go up to 15 minutes.

For make the tv program he had to tie his foots and do it vertical, because with that way the spector can see David. Normally his hear rate was 38 but in the tv program day his heart rate was 150. After 11 minutes he don't feels his limbs. After 15 min he start to undergo ischemia. However he resist until 17 min 4 s. Finally he reflect about magic and he say that magic is about train and experiment.

I am a amateur of freediving and I can hold my breath 3 min. I am impress about what this man has achieve, but I disagree when he say that he has to learn how hyperventilating. Hiperventilating eliminates CO2, that is true, but so many freedivers don't recommend it because it speed up the syncope and that increments the riskiness.

How Black Friday is the Regina George of holidays

In this new Alli Colzain talk abou the black friday. They start the new telling: "I'll be the first peron to admit that I'm shopping addict."
The friday after Thanksgiving has been the official start of the Chrismas shopping seanson. When this day start in to the shops the people are fighting for clothes.
Now born a new ideology. This ideology is: no going to the shops in black friday and don't spend.

Opinion:
I am agree with the new ideology because now in the actuality the society us trick for we spend for things who don't need it.

Hawk Claims Dominance Of The Sky By Taking Down A Drone Mid-Fligh

In this video we can see how one hawk  attack to a drone. It is video load in Camridge, Massachusetts.
A drone is a new product of tecnology

Opinion:
In the actuallity we develop the tecnology and we don't wait to think what concequence implicate in the nature (in this case the airborne). In this case one drone are attakced by a hawk but we don't know if this animals not attack others gadgets.

I am not sure if the hawk attack to drone because it stay in his territoty (the hawks are a animal very territorial) or other option is the hawk attack this drone becuse he is hungry and he tought the drone is edible. The firs option is more likely but I present for you all my theorys.

Slamball

The slamball is a sport who is born in 2001 in América. That sport is a mix of basquetball and american football and it play with four elastic bed in front of each basket.

The player location are:
-Hadler: he direct the team therefore is the player who have a better control of the ball. As usual are the player who is small.
-Guinner: he is the scorer of the team.
-Tap: he is the advocate player. His function is stop the opponent when he attack.

This sport are create by Mason Gordon with Mike Tollin in the year 2001.
The first players of this sport were players of NBA and Mason Gordon. The first team is composed by 4 players. But when they do a presentation in the national TV they get new teams and do a league for the summer.

The match is composed by four parts of five minutes and the match start with a "bote-off"
The mains offenses are:
-When on player tackle the opponent for the back and he haven't got the ball.
-When two players are in the same elastic bed.

-When on player boot in the same elastic bed two times.
One player is throw out when he have 3 offenses.

My firsts marks of Batxillerat

I aren't happy with my firsts marks I work very fair.
The subjects most difficults for me are Spanish, Catalan, Chemistry and Biology.

In Spanish I have very bad mark but I am stay waiting for two marks more, but I don't have much hope. I fail this subject (I think).
In Catalan I fail an examen but I pass other exam. My average is 4,... but I can pass this subject for the homework. But just in case I don't inspire hope.
The subject of Chemistry is difficul but isn't imposible. I fail an exam for I don't reed well the wording and I don't copy bad a formulation. But I can pass this subject because if I do well the next exam she nullify the old mark.
The subject of Biology for the moment I pass it. But the next exam is very dificult and I have hesitation if I pass the next exam. The biology are my favorite subject but the matter isn't interesting for me, I like more the genetic than the biochemistry.

The conclusions are I have to get better marks because in the batxillerat the important isn't pass, the important is get good marks for go into the degree I want.

Presentation of english (Voodoo)

(We had a problem with the video, this is the frist and only part. We missed the other part.)

We have a mediocre presentation because we used the Microsoft Power Point. But I think the other elements of the presentation were correct, because we used an impressive picture in the cover.

My body language I think it wasn't bad but in sometimes I felt really nervous.

The structure I think it was good because we put the videos in the middle in order to not be boring and have the attention of the public.

I think that the content is correct because we put all the information that we found.

My pronunciation can improve, but you can understand everything.

I think we did  a good job, and the next presentation will be better.

The Hunger Games MOCKINGJAY (part 1)

It is the last film of Hunger Games at the moment. At the end of the last film of this saga Katniss and the others heros escape of the cupola of the hunger games. But the Capitol arrest Peeta.

The cosecuence of that is yhe destruction of the District 12. When the Capitol bombard the District 12 kill nine thousands persons but others one thousand of perrsons survive and go to the District 13. Katniss and the others tributs now are in the District 13.
This district destructioned for the Capitol and now live in underground and it preparing for attack the Capitol.

I like this film but not much. Some moments the film is boring. I reed the books of this saga and  when I compared the books are much beter than the films.
I suggest to you if you a fan of this saga because if you don't see the part one when you  will go to see the part two you won't understand the film,  but if you don't a fan of this saga I don't suggest.

My favourite part is when the District 13 save Peeta but Peeta isn't the same.

Differences and similitudes between "Theerten" and "The best of times"

This film and this book tolk about the adolescense and the differents situations himself confort.
The biggest difference between the book and the film is: in the flm the hero is a girl and in the book the hero is a boy. Other difference is: in the book Chee Seng  have a rich friend this is bad influence for he. But in the film "Theerten" the bad influence is a girl who is steals. A big difference is the friend of the hero of thirteen is false and only need  Tracy for take advantage of Tracy's family. I say this beacuse at the end when the Tracy's mother make outside of the house Evie, she ruin Tracy.

The biggest similitud between "Theerten" and "The best of times" is: in the film and in the book the heros taste the drug and the alcohol. Other big similitud is in the two stories the hero's father are divorced and in the two families haven't mach money.
Other similitud is in the two tales the hero got a boyfriend or a girlfriend.
Also the problems between the hero of "the best of times" (Chee Seng) and the hero of "thirteen"  are very similars.
All histories start when the hero is good and have well-mannered and at the end the hero is a bad influence.

Game of Throns

This serie is about 6 families ( Stark, Targaryen, Baratheon, Arryn, Tully and Lanister) and they fight for throne of 7 kingdoms. But the main family is the family of the Starks. The symbol of this family is a wolf. In the Stark's family there is a bastard, his name is Jon Snow, but he is accept for his brothers, only Cathelyn Stark hate he.
The Targaryen's family  is the ancient royal family and they ride the dragons.
The Lannister's family is the royal family. The queen is Cersei and she have two sons and one daughter, but they aren't the sons of the king, they are the sons of his brother. Cersei and his brother are fall in love. In my opinion Cerse is a manipulative.
I am following  this serie because is very interested and  have scheme.
I like this serie because has betrayal, scheme and action. This serie characterize kill the main heros of the history. I said this because for the moment die two kings, Edd Stark, Cathelyn Stark, Robb Stark and more.
This serie start in 2011. It have 4 Seansons but it will has 7 seansons and one film. It base on the books Game of Thrones. This books are do for G.R.R Martin.

THE THREE CRAZY PIGS

Once upone a time a wolf of the montains found three houses. So, he went to the glass house. He broke the house and found one pig who played with his computer. The pig wasn't upset-minded. The wolf thoug about this pig wasn't normal and then he went to next house.
In this house there was a pig who was reading a book. The pig saw the wolf and he said: "Catch all things you want to get, but you don't make noise". The wolf thought the same  that the first pig. And he wents to last house.

In the last house he found many pigs who were smoking weed. Suddenly, arrived the others pigs with a keyboard and a book.
In the end they kill the wolf with their objects while the pigs of the last house were laughing.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

It is the last film of Harry Potter. In this film harry potter attempt to kill Lord Voldemor  with the aid of Rone and Hermioner. This is a great film to watch with your friends.

For can kill Lord Voldemor they will go to arround the world finding the seven horrocruxes. Harry have to destroy the horrocruxes because into the horrocruxes there are a fraction of Voldemor's soul for that reason  if not destroy the horrocruxes Lord Voldemor is inmortal. But don't know how destroy the horrocruxes.

I like this films because is fascinating, have action, love and has a final very surprising.
This film is special form me because I saw all films of Harry Potter many times in my infancy and this film is the last one. I suggest to you.
My favourite scene is when Snape die but before Snape give a tear for know the true of he. The true is  that Snape riked his life every day for protect Harry when Harry thaught the opposite.
